Welcome to Virginia Tech Equestrian!
The Equestrian Club is open to all students at Virginia Tech, no matter how much or little experience they have with horses. All majors are welcome, you do not need to be an Animal and Poultry Science major or minor to join the club! Members must pay dues and be active in the club activities, earning hours along the way. We hold meetings in LARNA every-other Tuesday at 8 pm. Our meetings generally give information about our upcoming events, but occasionally we invite speakers from the horse world to come tell us about various aspects of their practices. The club exists mainly to support our three riding teams as they compete, and also to support the campus barn. Without club members, our teams would not be able to be as successful as they are. Club members are invited to join in any activity the team members hold, including traveling to shows and watching practices.
